Elmet Technologies is pleased to share that its analytical lab has expanded its scope of accredited practices. Elmet maintains an A2LA-accredited analytical laboratory to ISO / IEC 17025. The analytical lab has earned additional accreditations to add to the scope of practices available for testing of raw materials and metal products.

The Lab’s accredited practices have included tensile testing, density testing, hardness testing (Rockwell and Vickers microhardness), as well as microstructure analysis and grain size measurements. New practices now covered by the ISO / IEC 17025 scope include chemical composition analyses using optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Carbon and gas analysis in metals using combustion analysis.
